Are we holding our kids development back by undermining their innate wisdom?

Are our opinions about what our kids are wearing, eating, how they’re sleeping, what they’re learning, how they’re playing etc… affecting their trust in their own feelings and natural tendencies?

Do we we fit kids in to ‘our routines’ rather than letting them find their own?

As parents we all want the best for our kids, but are we actually imprinting our own perceptions and societies perceptions on them before they’ve even had a chance to make their own?

Well here’s a great can’o’worms Fiona and I have opened! We’ve lifted the lid a little on one side to see what spilled out.

We’ll no doubt lift it a bit more in some future broadcasts.
